Private Listening Network Setup
This private listening network uses a mix of radio hardware, Raspberry Pi hardware,
and server software to receive and distribute DMR audio.
Basic hardware used or recommended
- Raspberry Pi for hotspot or gateway use
- MMDVM hotspot hat or MMDVM modem board
- MicroSD card for Pi-Star or hotspot software
- Reliable 5V Raspberry Pi power supply
- Internet connection by Ethernet or Wi-Fi
- DMR-capable radio or compatible DMR client
- VPS/server for HBLink, HBMon, audio bridging, and the web dashboard
- Optional scanner/audio source for feed audio
- Optional USB sound card or 3.5 mm audio interface
- Optional external antenna for better RF coverage
